Shannon Nyamodi, A Good Samaritan Imprisoned

When a woman came out of a house screaming and fell to the sidewalk, Shannon Nyamodi, 18, hurried to her aid from the house where he was visiting friends in Franklin County, NC. He called 911. The white woman had been shot. She said her daughter was responsible. The police arrested Shannon for shooting the woman in her head, because he was the only black man around! The victim lived, although she was shot in the head. She swears Shannon did not shoot her, but the people who did shoot her are related to Sheriff Jerry Jones, of Franklin County, NC, and they are NOT to be blamed.

The good Samaritan has been incarcerated for a YEAR, held on a $500k bond, although he has no criminal background, had recently graduated from high school. He was a working young man who was about to go into the military.

Do they intend to kill the victim who swears Shannon did not shoot her? How does racist North Carolina intend to get away with prosecuting the person who HELPED the woman with her declaring it was not Shannon who shot her? He must request it or you can do it on his behalf. It is a petition for a writ of Habeas Corpus. They must give you a form to fill out.

Once the Writ of Habeas Corpus is requested the AG must present their case and evidence and convince the Court beyond a reasonable doubt that enough evidence exists to hold the defendant in custody.

When I asked the sheriff's department for a copy of the reports they refused to release any thing saying it was an on going investigation. I then went to the court house and made a copy of as many records as I could. That is what is posted on Shannon's website http://electbeth.wix.com/shannon

This past summer I went to the youngsville nc police department and requested a copy of the police reports from the night of the crime. I spoke with police chief Daren kirts, 919 556 0500, [e-mail]. he said he could not release them because a minor was involved. When I showed him a copy of the incident reports released to the press a member of his staff compared these reports to what they had on file and said they were the same. Apparently it is ok to give these reports to the press and not the family.

The weapon used was "found" days after Shannon's jailing and tested negative for any of Shannon's DNA or finger prints. They did not do a test on Shannon's hands to see if he fired a gun. That would have been negative also.

There are some reports missing out of the court record like the statement made by the victim in the ambulance. If Shannon could some how be bailed out of jail, that would really be a step towards the end of this nightmare.

We would like all evidence on this matter and a copy of the ORIGINAL police report of the arrest.
