THE TRUTH ABOUT PRESIDENT OBAMA, AMERICANS, AND THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION

A few days ago we read the article below written by Louise Hodges @ Western Center for Journalism and we were a bit surprised by the frontal attack on the past of President Obama. Instead of celebrating the history of this young man she seems to be condemning him. Louise comes out and publicly states "I have no use for Barack Obama. I don’t need a President with a history of drug abuse who puts the dreams of his father above the interests of the United States. Obama’s presidency is like a giant sinkhole, swallowing up everything we ever valued as Americans."

Now let's study these words carefully. Louise says she has no use for President Obama, but Mr. Obama was elected Senator and then President, and then re-elected President by a majority of Americans with a right to vote that actually voted. So guess Louise the majority do have a use for him although you may not.

Next, Louise comes out and affirms President Obama has a history of drug abuse? Maybe he smoked a joint at Occidental like everyone else, but to call it a "history of drug abuse"? The only thing I have seen him do publicly is have a beer once in a while.

In regards to putting the dreams of his father above the interests of the United States? I have seen Mr. Obama publicly say he wished he had had a father. That is a powerful thing to say publicly and we applaud him for having the courage to say it. Only human beings that have had fathers in their lives can imagine how lonely and insecure one must feel without that father figure. President Obama consider the members of AXJ to be your father figure if you need us. I have 3 children of my own.

Now that final line about the giant sinkhole and swallowing up everything we ever valued as Americans is a real winner. Louise, I don't know where you were born but I know I was born in America and my ancestors came over in 1492 with Columbus, so I consider myself an American, and don't feel President Obama has swallowed anything except perhaps his pride when he has made mistakes, as all humans do. At least I can prove he is not perfect and he is not an alien as some claim.

Louise, let us simplify things for you. Mr. Obama is not responsible for where he was born, even if it was in Kenya or Indonesia as some claim. He grew up playing baseball, eating apple pie, and as we saw not too long ago, even shooting guns. I don't like the part about shooting birds but at least he has shot a firearm. So doesn't that make him American? I am also sure he prayed in school, pledged allegiance to the flag, and memorized President Lincoln's Gettysburg Address as did all kids his age growing up in the US or in American Schools did. Please don't forget his mother and grandparents were also born in the US and all Americans, and they even spoke English while my ancestors spoke Spanish, now does that make me "un-American" too?

Louise, I hate to say it, but you really put your foot in your mouth with the American values thing. Americans are a superpower today simply because same as the Romans two thousand years ago, and the Spanish that came after them, who inherited that empire and colonized America 500 years ago, these were all Peoples that travelled and had contact with other nations and Peoples of this world. So did President Obama. He was fortunate enough to travel  and live in other countries when he was young, and learn other languages and cultures and meet other Peoples. Louise that is what makes Americans who they are, the "melting pot", Peoples from around the world travelling, immigrating and seeing the world, and above all having the Freedom to do it.

We Don’t Need Obama’s Birth Certificate

I have no use for Barack Obama. I don’t need a President with a history of drug abuse who puts the dreams of his father above the interests of the United States. Obama’s presidency is like a giant sinkhole, swallowing up everything we ever valued as Americans.

It’s almost an insult to our intelligence, to ask us to believe that Obama is a US citizen. He has a schizophrenic timeline of unexplained foreign travel, a list of aliases, and uncomfortable friendships with communists and hostile governments.

We can drop this debate over his birth certificate because we have something even more valuable. We have his mother’s passport files.

Stanley Ann Dunham’s passport files were obtained through the Freedom of Information Act and then posted online. (Strunk v. US Department of State) - [[[ BR/ORYR: both the Stanley Ann and Lolo Soetoro passport files embedded below. ]]]

When Obama was young, children traveled as an addition to their parents’ passports.

Passport regulations required a photo of parent and child together, as well as a certified copy of a hospital birth certificate. State-issued IDs came much later.

If Obama was born in the United States, as everybody says, then there should be a photo of little Barack Obama with his mother, as well as a certified copy of his Hawaiian birth certificate in her file.

Surprise. There are no photos of little Barack Obama in the file. And of course, there is no birth certificate from any hospital in Hawaii.

I know the passport laws for children. Obama’s mother and I would be approximately the same age if she survived. I filled out the very same passport applications for my own daughter, three years after Obama’s mother took him to Jakarta. The laws were the same for both of us.

My daughter was born in an Army hospital in Japan in 1971, when my husband was in the Navy. I added her to my passport so I could bring her back to the United States.

I remember it like it was yesterday because my ex-husband complained about how complicated it was. We had to go to the hospital and get a certified copy of her birth certificate, re-take my passport photo with my daughter, crop it until it fit the requirements, and then go all the way to the US Consulate in Tokyo and stand in line. If there was anything the man hated, it was anything that cost him money or inconvenienced him.

I carried a joint passport for myself and my daughter through US Customs and Immigration in Hawaii. I can tell you from experience that if Obama’s mother tried to take her son through US Customs and Immigration in Hawaii without a joint passport for herself and her son, she would have been stopped.

The obvious question is, who took him through US Customs and Immigration and helped him board the plane in Hawaii? And who brought him back?

The only mention of little Barack Obama is when his mother tried to renew her passport at the US Consulate in Jakarta a few years later. We see evidence of that in the file.

She tried to trick the passport office. She went to the US Consulate in Jakarta and wrote ...

FLASHBACK:  Department of State destroyed Obama's mama's pre-1965 passport records.

Chris Strunk and Ken Allen were the first to obtain the Stanley Ann Dunham and Lolo Soetoro passport records received under the Freedom of Information Act. It was those records that showed Obama's Indonesian surname "Soebarkah" and led to the discovery that the Department of State destroyed Obama's mama's pre-1965 passport records.
